To avoid stress associated with being powerless to connect, it is recommended that the traveller carry a set of different, internationally recognized adapters. Lastly, while it is essential to properly pack for the next vacation, it is more important to leave several important documents behind for use of family and friends to locate the traveler's whereabouts and have contact information on hand in case of emergency.
